When and how did your work start?
In 1988 I was looking for a job and thanks to a number of acquaintances I entered the tailoring world. I learned about fabrics and cloths, needles and buttons.
Following this I attended professional courses while doing a series of other jobs. It was the start of hard work and training. I invested passion, time and all my heart in this venture.
In 1997 I discovered that the Vatican Tailor's Shop was
looking for a couple of young tailors responsible for the production of the Swiss Guard's uniforms.
Initially I rejected the position, I didn't feel up to the task. However, having had second thoughts about it
I understood that it would have been an honour, even if indirectly, to work for the Holy Father. I remember my mother helping me at the beginning, working long hours with me. The rest is history... Read more »
